But more than 100 years have naturally left their mark on the building. After the aquarium section was completely renovated a few years ago, it was now the turn of the terrarium. Four aquariums and aquaterrariums with amphibians form the transition to the newly designed and renovated terrarium hall. This follows its historical predecessor in its interior as well: the corridor circles a large ornamental pond for highly endangered turtles. The terrariums on the outside display a <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW209870985 BCX0\">selection<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW209870985 BCX0\"> of amphibians <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW209870985 BCX0\">and, above all, reptiles<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW209870985 BCX0\">: from burrowing crocodiles and Mississippi Alligators to Golden Poison Frogs, venomous snakes, adders, <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW209870985 BCX0\">monitor<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW209870985 BCX0\"> lizards and tortoises. Fittingly, five CC species can be seen in the new terrarium: Anderson&#8217;s and Lake Patzcuaro Salamanders, Ziegler&#8217;s Crocodile Newt, the\u00a0Golden Poison <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW24465498 BCX0\">Frog<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW24465498 BCX0\">\u00a0and the <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SpellingErrorV2Themed SCXW24465498 BCX0\">Guimbeau&#8217;s<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW24465498 BCX0\"> Day Gecko<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW24465498 BCX0\">.
